CLASSICAL JERUSALEM · YOUR OWN PRIVATE DAY

Private Jerusalem Tours in English

Begin with Jerusalem spread out below you, then walk into the Old City’s streets and sacred places. I’m Oleg, your private guide. We’ll choose the stops around your interests, with time to ask, pause and take it in.

Jerusalem from your Dead Sea hotel

Duration: a full day, usually around 8–9 hours including travel.
Typical timing: leave your Ein Bokek hotel around 08:00 and return around 17:00.
Format: private English-language guiding for your party.
Transport: hotel pickup can be arranged in Oleg’s licensed Eshkol vehicle, for up to six guests; luggage capacity is confirmed in advance.

We leave room for questions, breaks and the moments that make your day. The schedule is a guide; traffic, your chosen stops and your party’s pace can affect the return time. Any substantial itinerary extension is discussed with you.

Staying in Ein Bokek or Neve Zohar? Send your hotel name so we can agree pickup and return. Already in Jerusalem with your own transport? Arrange guide-only touring from Jaffa Gate; the guiding-only starting price is US$400 per private party.

Choose the Jerusalem that interests you

A first introduction to Jerusalem, a Christian pilgrimage, Jewish heritage or a visit shaped around Muslim interests: tell Oleg what brings you here. Your religious interests are welcome, and you can also choose a day focused on history, archaeology and the city’s different communities.

First time in Jerusalem? Start with the classics

Possible highlights include a panorama from Mount Scopus or the Mount of Olives, entering the Old City at Jaffa Gate, and exploring the Christian, Muslim and Jewish quarters. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall can form part of your introduction. We select the stops together rather than try to fit every place into one day.

For Christian heritage and pilgrimage

Discuss the Tomb of the Virgin Mary, Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, the Christian Quarter and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Tell Oleg which places have particular meaning for you so they can take priority in the proposed day.

For Jewish or Muslim interests

Tell Oleg the places, traditions and stories you would like to explore. A Jewish-heritage focus may include the Jewish Quarter and Western Wall; a Muslim-interest visit is planned around the sites and experiences you request. Access to particular religious sites is checked during planning.

Would you like to include Bethlehem?

A visit to the Church of the Nativity and local pilgrimage sites in Bethlehem can be discussed when planning your day. It changes the time available in Jerusalem. Oleg will confirm the route, access, transport and local guiding arrangements before it is included in your quotation.

A flexible route, planned with care

The order of visits depends on your priorities, traffic and access on the day. We agree the main focus in advance, then leave room for questions, photographs and breaks. The list above is a choice of possible stops, not a fixed itinerary or a promise to visit every site.

Know the walking before you book

Travelling with children, parents or grandparents? Share their ages, interests and how much walking feels comfortable. The Old City includes steps and uneven streets; we discuss the route and breaks before confirming your day.
